In a first phase, the plants are analysed in detail to understand how to optimize their life and growth cycle in order to obtain the maximum amount of active ingredients possible.
To better analyze the perfect climate, the plants are placed in specific display cases within our laboratories, so as to be ready once the Vertical Farm is built.

In our displays we also study seedlings from micropropagation, such as ginger, turmeric and rhizomes.
Following a careful cultivation monitoring, the rhizome is sent to our laboratories to know in detail the characteristics of the active entailed ingredients and to gather certain data to target our reactions.

Each plant species has its own specific balsamic harvesting time, which is the time when the concentration of active ingredients is greatest within the plant.
This moment varies according to various factors, which with the Cultipharm method we are able to study and optimize in order to make them constant and reproducible between one production cycle and the next one.

The environment of the vertical farm allows you to have full control of the nutrient solution, humidity, temperature and light flow, so as to obtain healthy and resistant plants and a microclimate that is not suitable for the development of fungal diseases.
Thanks to this technology, Cultipharm works on the principle of prevention, eliminating the use of plant protection products.
